How to Plant
Before broadcasting, thoroughly mix this individual seed with dry sand, vermiculite, or another clean, dry carrier. A carrier is strongly recommended for most individual species and is especially important for small or lightweight seed. Direct sow about 1/4 inch deep into prepared, well-drained soil. Keep lightly moist until germination. Thin plants to approximately 6–9 inches apart, and cut or deadhead for continued flowers. Allow selected seed heads to ripen if reseeding is desired.
