How to Plant
Before broadcasting, thoroughly mix this individual seed with dry sand, vermiculite, or another clean, dry carrier. A carrier is strongly recommended for most individual species and is especially important for small or lightweight seed. Sow 1/4 inch deep in prepared, well-drained soil. Water gently and keep evenly moist during germination. Thin to about 12 inches apart for branching and airflow. Avoid wetting foliage when practical.
