How to Plant
Before broadcasting, thoroughly mix this individual seed with dry sand, vermiculite, or another clean, dry carrier. A carrier is strongly recommended for most individual species and is especially important for small or lightweight seed. Sow 1/4 inch deep in a prepared, weed-free bed. Water gently and keep the seed zone evenly moist through germination. Thin to 9–12 inches apart for branching and airflow. Water the soil rather than the foliage when practical.
